These products can be used either as a mulch and or soil conditioners to make soil healthy again. To use as a soil conditioner apply to a depth of approximately 100mm and then dig into the soil to a depth of 200-250mm.  This will add organic matter to clay, sandy and/or tired soils to improve nutrient levels, water holding ability, air porosity etc. To use as a covering mulch that is dark in colour and high in nutrient value apply to a depth of approximately 100mm.
